The process for the applicant is as follows:

Who Will Represent Ukraine at Eurovision 2027

The name of Ukraine’s representative will become known after the National Selection final in February 2027. The winner must sign a contract with Public Broadcasting for participation in the international contest within five working days after the results are announced.

If the winner refuses to sign the contract or ceases to meet the established rules, Public Broadcasting may cancel the result for such participant and select Ukraine’s representative from other finalists. Where Eurovision 2027 Will Take Place and When Ukraine Will Perform

The 71st Eurovision Song Contest will be hosted by the Bulgarian city of Burgas. The main venue will be “Arena Burgas.” The first semi-final will take place on May 11, 2027, the second on May 13, and the grand final on May 15.

Details about the allocation of countries between semi-finals will be announced separately, so it is currently unknown whether Ukraine’s representative will perform on May 11 or 13. Up-to-date dates and contest information are published by the official Eurovision resource in Ukraine.
