Every store, supermarket and even a small retail outlet needs special equipment, thanks to which, in fact, the sale of goods is carried out. Also, trade is impossible without a special design of trading platforms that facilitate the choice of buyers. It often happens that the owner of a trading business is forced to change his place of residence, as a result of which either new retail outlets or a new business is opened abroad. As a result, a situation arises where new Ukrainian companies employ citizens of other countries. The latter, as a result of such operations, receive a temporary residence permit in Ukraine.

Ukrainian legislation provides for the provision of a temporary residence permit for a year to foreigners who will subsequently be officially employed by a Ukrainian legal entity. The responsibility for such an operation falls entirely on the shoulders of the employer, who:

• first, obtains a work permit;
• then obtains a temporary residence permit for a foreign employee;
• in particular, such a procedure can occur regardless of whether the foreigner is in Ukraine or abroad.

Final legalization of a foreigner

Once you have received your immigration permit, there are two options:

1. If a foreigner is in Ukraine, the above document is handed to him personally, after which the foreigner must leave the country and return for a D visa. Then the company issues a temporary residence permit for the employee.
2. If a foreigner is at home, that is, not in Ukraine, a work permit is sent to him by mail, and he then goes here for a D visa. The temporary permit is issued in Ukraine.
