But if you plan to stay in another country for a longer period, then everything is much more serious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Law clearly states that a foreigner, depending on the visa regime, can stay in Ukraine for 90 or 180 days. If a citizen of another country wishes to extend his stay in our country, he must obtain a residence permit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Privileges of a residence permit in Ukraine<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A foreigner who has received a residence permit in Ukraine acquires many significant privileges. It is difficult to list everything, but there are several important ones:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>free education for children;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the right to acquire Ukrainian citizenship;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>banking services;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the right to pension provision, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Which residence permit is better to get?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are two types of this document in Ukraine: permanent and temporary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have received a long-term contract to work in Ukraine, have relatives, have any other reasons appeared to stay here for a long time &#8211; it would be logical to apply for a temporary residence permit. You will be granted the same privileges as citizens of Ukraine, of course, except for cases specified in the legislation. Thus, having issued a temporary residence permit in Ukraine, you will have a wide field of action related to state affairs.
